It is a poorly understood rare disorder characterized by progressive hemifacial atrophy of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and sometimes, the underlying structures including muscles, cartilages and bones. A case report of a Saudi female with this rare disorder is presented with a brief review of the literature.
