The tumor is diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging MRI examination, which was requested to evaluate her as a potential renal donor. There is a family history of Carney s triad gastric leiomyosarcoma, extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma and pulmonary chondroma. The MRI technique and findings are discussed.
